What do you do when you run out of ideas for your blog?

Heya people, I seem to have met some kind of problem with my blog. I have only written a few blog posts, and yet I have already seemed to have ran out of steam, and I can't seem to find any more ideas for my blog. This is quite bad, because my blog is only a few weeks old, and I post once every two days. For most of you experienced bloggers out there that have already been blogging for many years, how to you keep up with your set pace and keep your visitors happy? By the way, my blog is a philosophical one (you can find it on my profile), and that is why I keep running out of ideas, as all of my blog posts are original and all the ideas came from me, so this is different from constant news streaming niches like technology. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Nameless_

Hi Nameless, I can't understand how anyone can run out of writing ideas, especially for a philosophical blog. I have more than three hundred articles in Helium, and more than 400 blog posts (combination of two blogs), yet I have so many things to write! You can check out Helium, there are many interesting titles there. I actually enjoy those "reflection" types of articles, and the debate articles. I'm sure you can "steal" the titles, modify them and write 20 blog posts per day.

Hi Scheng, You're right. You cannot actually run out of ideas, especially for a philosophical blog. Not unless other matters occupied your time. Anyway, I also have a blog but haven't written anything for the past months. And this is because, i'm preoccupied with other things. I actually feel that i'm neglecting my blog. But anyway, at least everything that i wanted to write about are still in my memory bank. I just have to manage my time better. I believe i have opened your blog 'helium' and have read some of it, which i found interesting. If you have time, i invite you to see mine. It's star-bright-nhing.blogspot.com. It simple, no frills yet. I still have to do something to make it more attractive. And that is another thing I need to learn.

scheng1, that is what I have been trying to do, but currently, all my blog posts are very unique and are all completely original, because I haven't found any articles that I like on philosophy yet. This is because my blog is very special and I have still yet to find a blog that is similar to mine. All the philosophical blogs are about Plato and conferences, and I get confused about that. My philosophical blog is on original ideas, and that is why I have already ran out of ideas. Any help will be highly appreciated though. :(

Hi Nameless, it's itme you read more articles and more books, not necessarily about philosophy or meaning of life. There are many articles in Helium on life reflection, such as money and happiness, successful life etc. You can also look for famous quotations, and write your thoughts on that. I'm reading a thriller now, it's a legal thriller. However, this author is a professor of law, and there are many meaningful thoughts in the book. One sentence about money and elite is, "Being part of the elite is the reward for working hard and living right." This is very true, yet very snobbish. You can even use it as a theme to develop a few articles.
