Unemployment

What do you think needs to be done to increase employment. I think we need to increase mixed development. This will create and more jobs. The will cause a continuous boast to the economy and will increase jobs. Furthermore small business need grants to expand or tax credits to expand and purchase equipment. We also need a President and congress people who have the skill set to stimulate the private sector. We also need affordable high speed internet to rural America. The internet should be regarded as apublic utility and the internet company providers need a compelling regulations to make it possible. Giving money is not the way if this make the government think they can dictate what the executive are paid. Rural America needs high speed internet immediately and we need government leader committed to this in rural America. Basically, President and Congressional leaders need to be told to bring high speed internet to rural Americaorthese leaders will be unemployed by eason of defeat in the next election

I think that above all, the answer to employment is in each and evry one of us. We all have a talent or hobby that, in some way, can be used to help create an income. Not only can it help create an income, but for those who are ready and willing to take the leap, it can also create more jobs for others. For example, a person who is good at, or enjoys making wood furniture could easily sell it, and eventually, grow a very lucrative business. I know that the economy is in a bad state, but I fell that this is a way to rebuild it. It gives many opportunities that they have never had.

Stop illegal immigration!!!Get rid of the illegals that are here.Will this solve all of the unemployment problems?Of course not.
It will,however,create new jobs.The government would have to hire people to find the illegals and deport them.Of course,this is the easy part.The only ones that don't seem to know where they are is the government.This in turn would allow American citizens to take those jobs and get paid a decent wage to do them.
Before anyone says that Americans won't do those jobs,get into the real world.The same jobs are being done by Americans across the country everyday.The ones that won't do those jobs are just plain lazy.

Yeah, they have to give small businesses breaks.
The government seems to want control over every aspect of America. And truthfully, even though I consider myself a more "right-wing," small government person, I wouldn't mind this if government wasn't so incredibly inept at 99.9% of all things they do! I have no faith in them. Businesses have no faith in them.
Government hasn't given me any cause to be hopeful. A .2% rise in employment doesn't cut the mustard when they've already spent billions upon billions of dollars to supposedly "jump start" the economy.
Nothing seems real coming out of Washington. It just doesn't. It all seems like a way to grab power and increase government's size -- which will, eventually, in order to simply sustain it, require higher taxes from the average working people, and this hits small businesses hard.
And I agree about the Internet. I pay an outrageous price for something I feel in no way should have such a hefty price tag.

Oh! Iam not American but,to respond in this issue. I must say that this unemployment issue can only be stopped by government and individuals. How? Govt can play their role by providing some facilities.like as mentioned the internet, to some rural areas, build offices, companies e.t.c. Then, individuals how far have we support govt to solve problems like this? Hope we don't criticize govt works. Earlier the we reason together with them, the quicker we stop unemployment.
