Women are happier than Men

A Happy Woman - A woman is comparatively more happy than a man. Women get opportunity to past their times with friends and family members. But for business men get less opportunity to past their time such a way. This is one of the reasons for the happiness of the women.A recent study reveals this fact.

In life time women are happier than men. Though they have many dissatisfactions in their life they can enjoy their moments hole heartedly. They make their moments joyful and pleasant. In a day average 15 minutes women happily past their time. But men can past average 10 minutes in a day happily. Dr,Roger Patalny, fellow of the Social Policy Research Center of the New South Wales University,Australia found out this fact by his study. In fact in their daily life works they can find out pleasure and this is the reason behind women's more happiness than men. Women get more opportunity to past their time with their family members and friends. But in this respect men comparatively past their time lonely. Perhaps for business men get less time to enjoy their life. The researchers think so. But surprisingly though women are said 'good housewife' or 'fortune of a home' most of them dislike to do household works. The survey of the Daily Telegraph reveals this fact.Like women men also dislike to do household works.Hello guys and ladies, do you agree with the study that the women are happier than the men?

I think I would need to know the defination of happy, what make one happy may not make another that way. I know men who work together often have a great relationship with their coworkers, and women often suffer much in the home life or even at work. Women are ruled by their hormones and are often moody and sad. Also a life at home with children can often be very lonely. Very few men work entirely alone and can enjoy many relationship with others.

Yes happiness differs from person to person. Yes I agree women often suffer much in their home life.I think women have adjustable character. So they can adjust themselves in any situation. That may be one of the causes of their happiness.

Wow, this is news. :) Well, learn from us then and stop trying to be superior. :) I am inclined to agree with this. Women are always planning and planning for a happier outcome. That itself is a way to be happy. If I do this or if I can do this, this is what I can get, and that will be so nice. From personal experience, I think men find it objectionable. They dont like that fact that women could come up with something like that. So they try to find faults with the plan. They cant follow the plan because they they'd be accused of having discouraged. They dont let the women follow their hearts and minds, so the women are also unhappy. But the unhappiness gets additionally compounded when men find their friends succeed with the same plan. Now, they have to struggle to keep things quiet on home front and act as if not jealous outside! So I think it is that out here. But even without this, men are told from very childhood that it is not ok for them to be weak, they cant cry, they've to shoulder responsibilities, they've to protect womenfolk, and so on. That must be quite a burden to carry. Ironically, both situations can be corrected, they are not as if something is hormonally wrong, isn't it?

I agree with you vandana. Women are in general very cautious. They give steps calculatedly. So they don't do mistake and the results go in favor of them. On the other hand men take decisions emotionally. They are biased also. Do the women share their happiness with men?

Women would love to share and be acknowledged as intelligent people. If men give the credits correctly, why not? :)

As far as I am concerned, I think the women are a little happier than the men. For they have little stress in their life. They can enjoy their life most. But for men, they have the duty to support their family and make the things good. Men will have a lot to do in the society. So I think , women should do something to make the men feel relaxed.Happy mylot.

Yes women are a bit happier than men. But I don't think men don't take all the pressure of family. Women or mothers take care of their children including primary education. She also looks after the family when husband remains outside. So stress on them is not little.

No, I do not agree with the fact that women are happier than men, but I do agree with the fact that women dislike housework as much as men does. While it is true that that research showed the women are happier than men, it is also shown that while women may be happier than men for an extra 15 mins of each day, the happiness declines after the ages of 48. This is thought to be because men have high financial goals that are unreachable in their age, but by the time they are 48, they would have already reached their goals and are therefore happy. Women, on the other hand, have to face prejudice, suffer childbirth, do housework because society stereotypes women with housework and not men, and stay at home taking care of the home and children instead of pursuing their career. How is it then, that women are happier than men?

The study is based on a survey. It's not a debate. It's a general condition.
