Do you apply perfume or deodrant, when you are going out?

I always apply mostly deodrant and sometimes perfume, when I am going out. I want to smell good as we will be going out and have to mingle with people. They should feel good in our presence. They should not shrink their eyes. How about you, do you apply perfume or deodrant when you are going out?

I do apply perfume while going out and hand and body lotion immediately after taking bath for feeling fresh. Sometimes, I use deodarant instead of hand and body lotion. Instead of perfume, sometimes I use Javvadu, a sort of powdered perfume, to be mixed with rose water or plain water and apply on hands and neck and its fragrance lasts longer, to wit, till night.

But javvadu will be like a paste is it not. Will it be absorbed or will it remain like a pack or paste on the hands?

javadu is not a paste. It is a powder. In ancient times, the Minors (rich and famous), rajas, and all the big shots, and now a days, the Nadaswaram playing people, will mix this powder in sandal paste and apply on their hands,forehead and chest to give great smell. Since I don't want sandal paste to be visible, mix the powder with water. Punugu is also a perfume which is in the paste form and is obtained from a civet cat.

from the beginning itself i am not using talcum powder or any creams to the body and perfume or deodorants,but my sons are using neither i use nor my wife will use the deodorants regularly,if some occasions are there,then the perfume/deodorant available in the house then may be we use,have a nice day

Even I have seen some people not using talcum powder or perfumes. It is individual's preference.

I too mostly use deodrant only. Sometimes if I am going for a function, then I will use perfume.

Hi, Buchi_bulla. Yes, I do apply deodorant when I am going somewhere. I never walk out of the house without making sure that I have put some on. I love wearing perfume, but I have to get them out of storage so that I can begin to use them again. I love smelling good to. It makes me feel beautiful when I can smell nice around many people.

Yes. When you are among people, you should smell good. They should not feel delicate to stand next to you.

Hi Aunty.
I use perfumes occasional for marriages and get togethers. I get headaches for a strong fragrance. I usually pick the one which is not very mild. When i stay at home i use deodrants. My very sensitive for a strong fragrance.

That is good. Select a mild deo or perfume. Even I select mild ones only. Even in joss sticks, I select mild fragrances only.

Hi. Deodorant is a must in a tropical country like ours, the Philippines. Our country's warm weather could make us perspire very easily. Daily use of deodorant could prevent unnecessary smell or body odor. I rarely use perfume.

hi,Buchi,fine,i have 2 types of perfumes with me.One i use regualarly and the second one [mostly poison brand] is for any special occassions like marriages,festivals...I love medium fragrance..

hi aunty, yeah, i use perfume, when i go out. my hubby bought two perfumes from US.the fragrance is awesome, once i use in the morning, it will stay till the night.. smooth smell. i like both the perfumes..thankyou, have a good day.

Yes I do... I cannot leave the house without having it, as well as body lotion, face powder, and sanitizer. It makes me feel fresh all day and increase my self-esteem.

yes i love to smell good so people love to be my friend. i feel fresh speacially in crowded places.i use spray twice a day after bath.
