phpBB easy to install on domain?

Hi myLotters.
I know that you can make great forums with phpBB. If i don't have any knowledge of PHP language will it be hard for me to use, install phpBB 3 on a domain?
Also do you need special web hosting to run phpBB on your Site?

Yes, phpbb is a good form but it can be difficult to install on a domain. You need to know some about "mysqul " for it to work properlly and it is a real pain. To run Phpbb some basic computer skils are required to install it, and knowledge of basic tearms helps as well. If you're new and starting out. ... try a free message board that simply needs to be linked from a website.

mynyosz, if you want to install a forum, don' go with phpBB, go with Simple Machines Forum (SMF). Because phpBB has a lot of technical problems, and SMF doesn't. SMF is also easier to configure and has better smileys (in my opinion). But trust me. If you go to any technical computing forums like I do, they will all agree that SMF is the best free forum software out there.
