It will not be considered as number of post once it is a comment, it will not change the number after your name. But you are still earning with that comment though

I'm sorry - "200 posts" is a little inaccurate. 'User Rating' of 200 (the number against your name) is what I should have said. Your User Rating increases: 1) When you make a discussion that gets at least one response 2) When you respond to a discussion for the first time You are paid for your participation here and that means for every qualifying discussion (with at least one response), every response you make to a discussion (though I'm not sure about the second and subsequent responses to the same discussion - very few people respond twice to a discussion on purpose!) and every comment you make. The last is important because it is really the comments that make a 'discussion'. If you start a discussion and nobody responds, you may as well have been talking to thin air; if you get some responses and don't add comments (either because there's nothing more to be said or because you don't believe it's worth it), then you are missing out on the thing that distinguishes a 'question and answer session' from a discussion and also on potential earnings. If a subject is at all worth discussing, then you should have a good deal to say about it once others have had their say! The earnings algorithm is complicated (and we aren't allowed to speculate on how it works) but I have certainly made 40 or 50 cents in a day simply by starting one discussion and commenting (I hope with quality) to the 30 or so responses that I had. One good discussion a day - with responses and comments - can keep one quite busy and is far more profitable than a dozen poor discussions which aren't worth commenting on!
