Are investments really that worth it?

I don't know about you guys but whenever i hear 'rent referrals' i alway shake my head. I mean lets take my example Neobux. Not only renting referrals but, in Neobux standard you can click on 4 -5 ads a day earning about 4 cents a day. Now, there a lot of membership upgrades and referral rentings going on. I'm just really confused. How could you pay $90 a year for golden membership and spend another bundel on referrals and another amount on extra packages and think you will actually get credited for it in the end. If so, dont you think it would take a massive amount of time to reach the amount paid as an investment?My question is, has anyone invested money into a site, and actually got a good enough profit in a 'shortish' period of time? If you have please share with me how you manage to overcome this. Thanks for your responses:)

Well it depends on what type of investment you are refering to, and how does it normaly works for those who invested the same. Investing a money in a site i think is not a good choice, because it will rely purely on whether or not the public will patronize it. What if they don't? what happens to your money? More established and tested businesses investment is a wise choice for me.

Yes... direct refferals are always the best, but what I am saying is that sometimes you need indirect referrals to earn you some money. I don't really know if it is worth it or not though, but apparently if you get golden referrals then it is really worth it.
Not sure... I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. :( Nameless_

hi,don't invest single penny,if you are wise..try to get direct referrals...if rented referrals,they are active initially and inactive later...
