oh wow, Christmas is a few days away. this year has gone by so quickly. Busy busy busy, but its almost over with. The other day my youngest son, corey decided to ask " why6 cant i go christmas shopping with you since i know there isnt a santa" It was funny and cute but at the same time i was very shocked. I knew my sons didnt belive in santa, and my daughter is too young to even really drasp it yet but wow. i never expected that he put so much thought into it. Do your kids believe in santa? Do they want to go christmas shopping with you?

We were always taught that "If you do not believe then you do not receive." So my kid grew up the same way. Even though the are now teenagers and they know that there is no man that comes down the chimney to bring gifts and goodies; they certainly would never tell me that there is no Santa. As for going shopping with me not real thrilled with that idea either. They still give me their wish list and hope for a few surprises on Christmas morning.

Of course they arent going with me, i feel as if even if they know there isnt a santa, they can still be surprised by what they get. I have asked that they watch what they say as my daughter is 13 months and of course here soon she will repeat everything everyone says. I certainly dont want them to take away her belief in santa. When she is ready to believe there is no santa that will be her own personal choice, but until then i want her to wish all she can. I thought his thought process on it was meerly cute, but he will never get to go shopping with us lol. Though i still have them write out a wish list.

My daughter is grown now but it took her a very long time to realise there was not a Santa and that we were Santa. She never did want to go shopping with us though so we got lucky on that part.
