Ok i not one of those huge pet lovers that have handbags with my dogs picture on it or my sweatshirt or anything ( not that its a horrible thing for those who do) but im just not that type.. BUT i DO LOVE MY DOGGIE with all my heart. i do think of him as one of my children i buy him special treats just as i would my children while out and about if i saw something cute or that they would like... I dont sleep well when hes not in my bed hogging up the covers or pillow... I miss him an feel bad when i am out at an appointment that i cant take him too and at the same time i know that he is a dog and it is ok not to go overboard and have to 100% devote all my attention as if he were a newborn baby... I went out an got him a stocking for christmas and i plan on filling it with toys and goodies for him for christmas morning and my husband thinks im a freak... "hon hes a dog... a pet...." he would say... i start in on my speil about how i love him and hes part of the family and what not but then i just get the look.. ya know the one where you think you have somehting green stuck in between your teeth because he just wont stop staring at you and your getting nervous chils up your spine... LOL ya that look... What is so wrong with wanting to spread the Christmas joy with our family pet??\ Anyone else have any thoughts about this? You think im nuts too? Or are you yourself getting your special pal a little something special?

Yes. I have a puppy and he is already spoiled rotten, with chew bones, treats and you name it. He is getting lots of toys for Christmas, treats and you name it. He will have a very good Christmas.

My husband and I are also huge dog lovers. My husband has his own dog, whom we both really love. And I have a feeling she loves us just as much. Although she is my husband's dog, she has adopted me, in her own way. Anyway, we decided to get her something for Christmas. As she needs a new collar, my husband and I decided to get her a new collar, a purple collar. We want it to be purple, because it's our university color.
