Read carefully: I do NOT want the answer. I would like to know how to GET the answer. An atom of potassium (K) has 19 protons: 18 electrons in its inner electron energy levels and 1 electron in its outer energy level. What is the easiest way for this atom to get a filled outer energy level? ** I DON'T WANT THE ANSWER. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ~HOW~ TO GET THE ANSWER ** Thank you.

Hi, your question is awkwardly framed, but think about the following questions -- the answer should become clear: a. What are the different ways to have a completed outer level? b. One of these is the easiest way. What does it means to say "easiest"? Good Luck!
