A case of mistaken identity............................

I have just received a message on my Facebook account, which read 'Happy Christmas Mummy, love from Ashleigh'. Now, if I'd been a man and it said 'Daddy' I think I'd have been worried, however, I know I've only had one child, I was there at the birth. So now I'm wondering if it's something dodgy, or if maybe it's someone who thinks I'm someone else as I have a similar name to the person who sent it. Have you ever had that kind of thing happen? If you're male, would you be worried that maybe your past had caught up with you?

I'm very pleased to hear You're not suffering from Amnesia! I'm not that familiar with the workings of FB as Yet,as so far I only have family and friends on my list of contacts, and "Friends of Friends" I've never met or spoken to on standby..Is it possible to check who it was that sent this message? It's probably mistaken Identity,or this little Girl sent it to You accidentally..If it was Me,like You say,if it was a "Daddy" Message,I'd be getting worried!

I see they've started to address the issue of Privacy on FB,having added some extra privacy settings you can use to control what messages you receive,or who can see You..

I once had a message left on my answerphone that told me to bring the painting to the prison! But no, no funny Facebook messages. As I'd never name a child of mine "Ashleigh" then I'd have to to deny paternity! Lots of love Ashleigh XXXX

Hmmm, take a painting to a prison, that could be code for something else. ;) I wouldn't name mine Ashleigh either, I'm sure I'd have noticed if I'd have had more than one child.

Fish do lay an awful lot of eggs though Dory. I spawned over three hundreds thousand pike last year.
