hey all
So Joss Whedon is no stranger to having shows cancelled (firefly, dollhouse)and that awesome actress eliza dushku isn't a stranger to losing jobs either (tru calling, dollhouse.) So why does he not make...Faith the vampire slayer? it would solve both their problems because there is an absolute legion of buffy fans that are still just as fanatic 10 years on as we always were, and we would make sure that show would not get cancelled! is it just me? i absolutely adored faith, she was the edgy cool slayer, and im sure Joss could format so that its either set before she came to sunnydale or after the whole making-potentials-slayers thing. does anyone agree?

First as I just saw a new Dollhouse last week I do not believe this show has been cancelled. As for the Buffy phase there may be a following but at the moment there are too many vampire shows, movies and like to bother.

hey thanks for answering, what series of dollhouse did you see? my brother watches it and said its been axed after series 2.
i know there is too much vampire themed films and tv on already, people are capitalising on the twilight season were in but still i think if there was 'one more vamp show' there wouldn't be any complaints to it being buffy related as it was such a favourite.

The one you are talking about that is aired on Fox. There is a new one tonight as well.

fox is airing new episodes, but theres only about 10 of them to show, because the show has officially been cancelled. but im not trying to argue or anything, and feel free to correct me if im wrong. it sucks when you get involved with a show and then it gets axed.

Sadly so. I really like Eliza and she has played some great characters in her career. I hope she comes back soon. I watch Angel all the time. She is in it afew times. She is good. I still have tapes of Buffy as well. Love all of those. Wish they would continue them or something. I agree with you. She should go back to before Sunnydale or something.
