have you come across posts who are so similar that you feel deja vu? i got to see two posts recently which were almost same and the points they mentioned happened to be exactly the same present in some other blogging site almost a year ago.what do you say about that?

If that happens then those posts have been copied from another site and posted here. That is a violation of the myLot Guidelines and an offence called plagiarism. These should be reported using the (!) beside the post itself. We only earn for our own original posts here.

Like others have said, what probably happened is someone has Copy and Pasted these posts either from an earlier discussion posted here, or from somewhere else. I have seen this many times here, as well as other sites I have been on over the yrs. and wonder why some people refuse to allow their Creative minds to work as well. But I guess without no one really caring and stopping them from doing so this will continue to happen as well.

hi neo matrix I do not know about that particular situation but several times my discussion would not post so I wrote it over and used ie instead, then came to look at my discussion and to my horror both had posted, now I did not think the first had as it sat there for ten minutes without posting. be assured I notified mylot admins at once as I knew some nitpicking mylotter would try to accuse me of cheating or something, when it was mylots goof not mine. so some things that look like one of us has done something against mylot rules are actually mylot glitches, not ours. just wanted to point that out.

Hi Hatley! but then the post would be in your name twice.it's very unlikely for two completely different people to have same way of presentation on same topic.
