Recently I read a book called The Gift of Fear, and it seriously changed my life. It takes you deep into the mind of a criminal and shows you why they do what they do, and how to prevent their evil doings from happening to you. This book ended up saving me a few weeks after I read it when a man came up to me offering me help with some groceries. I declined profusely. Later on he was caught and arrested with the nick name "The Baseline Rapist". Because of the techniques I used in this book I was spared a horrible event. What are some books that you've read that have changed you? Either mentally or emotionally.

being an avid reader i have read a lot of books that have influenced me a lot.But in recent times I had been reading a lot of Paulo Coelho's book. His books inspire me deeply, and help me understand the meaning of life isn't just breathing in and breathing out, they have moved me a lot emotionally & I keep going back to them when I get lost.

I love reading books and there are lots of books that have dramatically changed my life. I am not self-centered now and that's what I've learned in the book, "It's Not About Me". I also have learned the value of family and friends on the book "Stories for a Teen's Heart". There are other books which I love so much and changed my whole being. Most of these books are Christians books which either given or bought. I am so lucky I've read these books because these are great influences why I became the person I am right now.

To be taken deep into the mind of a criminal, read Tony Blair's autobiography. What a tw4t! Books that have changed me: the Communist Manifesto (obviously), the God Delusion (naturally) and... 1984. And Brave New World. And We. And loads of others that I can't recall just now...
