I used to use AVG, Avast, Avira, and Comodo. I have now settled down to Comodo Internet Security. It may be a hassle to use it after installation, especially when it comes to software not in its database. We have a choice to set it to remember, so we will not be asked the same question. CIS has been consistently outperforming many well known anti virus programs.

I have used kaspersky,nod32 and 360 as my antivus. And now i use 360 which is free.Though 360 is not safer than kav and nod32 it's enough for my daily use.

How many? Tons!!! There are a lot of free antivirus out there. Some notable free antivirus are Avira, AVG, Avast, Smadav, Norman, and ClamAV. And there are still a lot out there. Most of free antivirus are quite similar. They gave only limited protection to your system. I am currently use Avira Free edition, still use version 8 though. I prefer Avira since client file size relatively small, the update also simple enough, and most important it use less resource than AVG. Never try to use another free antivirus since I feel Avira have give enough protection.

Avast? from Czech? I once used it and then uninstall it and re-install my favorite Kaspersky. Avast is freeware, that's right, and it has some great advantages obviously. But i wanna say that it really really strict for each files. Even an encrypted WinRAR-packed file under its scan, and then it'll continously bounce out the warning window to alert you. really troublesome for me sometimes

I like norton antivirus because, I think when we are using microsoft based computer, will be easier when we want to track the virus in my computer because same product from microsoft. However, because the price is still high for poor people? I prefer the free version of AVG because it is still often come up and proved successful until now to protect my computer from virus threats.what your opinion friends?
