New year is cioming!

This year has been terrible for just about everyone I know. Jobs have been lost, money hasn't come in, the weather's caused all sorts of trouble, and illness has hit most of us. Do you think 2010 will be better?
I love having any reason at all for hope! A new year beginning is a great one.
May you all have the best year ever starting January 1!

Hey cobrateacher! I am praying that this New Year will be much
better than 2009, but I am afraid that I have some problems
that I will be bringing into the New Year to start it off and
I hate that! It has been a really bad year for so many of us
and I really wish that I could see the light through the tunnel,
but unfortunately I am still have problems with my Disability
and them making me pay for my Medicaid so I will still be
continuing my fight with the government in 2010! I just pray
that my health holds up and that things will get better for
me and all the people that I care about! I wish you a very

Hey, Leslie!
I'm so sorry to hear this. Do you have a good Disability attorney? The Bar Association will make a recommendation if you need one. I have a great lawyer to handle all the many, many problems with Workers' Comp, which is a very similar situation. BTW, they pay him; you don't.

I hope that this new year 2010 will bring us better things that the previous year. However I am a bit dubious that such thing would occur. I am worried about the Euro monetary system. Greece seems to be in trouble and as EU countries share the same monetary system the Euro except Britain, I am a bit afraid that the Euro is doomed to fail.

So far, Ronaldinu, it's been pretty bleak. I have hope, but not much to hang that hope on! It seems as if the greed of the few has totally deflated the rest of us!

I have tons of faith so I am hopeful for the new year. I know there are changes coming not only in my life but in the world. May you have a great new year as well. Have you any new year resolutions?

My resolution is the same every year: I resolve to be a better person than I was yesterday! It's been working for me for my entire life, and I do stick to it in every way I can...

That sounds like a very noble and good one. I am going to try to stop babying my daughter so much. She is disabled and I often do things for her thinking she can't do them on her own. But I have spoken to her school and she is able to do much more than I realized.

I hope everything will be better in 2010.
I quit making resolutions a long time ago because I never kept them. I do plan to do some things better in the coming year, though. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well.
