The mylot site may not pay a lot of money for post, but there are a plethora of hot ideas for writers to use in this vast interactive community. (1) Ideas for article titles, (2) Great information from other mylot users, (3) The mylot news feeds, a great source of information, (4) Learning to interact with people from different countries, (5) Most of all, learning the importance of social interaction, and social networking, something that is taken for granted in our modern age.

Applauds to you powermannx. I actually use mylot to do writing practices. It really helps with sentence structure, etc.
I have actually gotten some great story ideas from here as well. Which is always very helpful if you are attempting to write a book.
I tend to write a lot of articles and there are times when I actually need ideas on building the article. I will take a break, come here and read discussions, after a bit of time, I am back on track and can go back to my article writing.
It is so interesting learning about the many different cultures here on mylot and how each person views the issues with the economy all around the world, or how their countries have been affected by the events that have happened with the economy.

This is so true, your comment points out the importance of online socializing and networking with people from every walk of life. I have also found that this site keeps my creative juices flowing, I will begin to come up with new and engaging articles for one of the sites I have not written for in more than one year. We have to learn to make our own opportunities in order to make money, but have fun in the process.

hi powermannx yes your reasons are valid and I have often thought I would do some writing when some discussion piqued my interest. not that I would steal their works as that is plagarism but so many discussions prompt offshoot ideas in my head for my own original writings. I love to learn from others from all over the globe. it is really a small world and shrinking due to the net as we can send messages and discussions all over the world now. What is not to love in mylot?

I am getting the feeling that Mylot has more to offer than the owners of this site may realize. The discussions could be turned into invaluable and fun interactive blog post feed through the net by social bookmarking.

I agree with you indeed. I have gotten many new ideas through this site.
That's the reason why after three years, I am still with mylot.com. Not that I am earning a lot but what I have learned from various discussions are much more valuable.

I would like to see my lot jump into the blogging game, they have so much to offer. It would be beneficial if they would add a new feature such as getting paid for page views. If a discussion were bookmarked it could draw more attention to the great post which are created here. I think that the rating system could remain the same.
