How well do you get along with your colleagues

About colleagues, I find it something interesting to share. When you take over a new job, at first you'll find it hard to get close to them, let alone to join their already-existed group. No jokes, no malestation, and you surely will stay in the corner alone for quite some time. As time goes by, you feel relaxed to finally fit yourself into one of them. but hey, don't get it messed up. On and off, you see things happening that clearly tell you that there'r competitions, chances that slip away into the hands of the one you thought cares you very much. Now if you can clear you mind up, you shall realize you are down to competitors basically speaking. If you quit the group possibly, people around you will tell how much they gonna miss you being there, how much they are unwilling to see your departure and constantly asking you to go back to pop by.Bulllshit totally!you will realize it someday. You'll be soon out of their memory when they adjust their mood.Pathetic enough, no longer friends anymore. And also, you, especially you, can't take it too serious being friends with them, coz they don't! What's ur exprience?

I worked for a big company fr 5 years. Relationships among people and departments were changing incredibly fast and they had a great felxibility. I saw many people starting with getting along well but then, hated to see each other. Or, alternatively, people who didn't like each other before could become close friends at work. Now, I'm working for a smaller company and I can't see any differences. I think it is something about human being and wherever we work for, human will stay being human.

Very little these days. Actually the friendship is a bond and loosens when untouched so this happened many times, I left talking even being good friends and no reply from there too and the friendship ended. But now i know my responsibility of how to keep a long lasting friendship.,just STAY in TOUCH.

the moment my colleagues found out that i am a joker in nature, they will always include me in any gimmicks they plan going into. of course they themselves wants to enjoy every time we go night out and inviting me will never be a problem coz i never disagree with every happenings. and so the moment i move on to a better job, we still keep our communications especially if there are any night lifes being scheduled. not to mention, i always offer a helping hand to every colleague that needs one.

I am a shy person, so I feel especially grateful that I've always gotten along well enough with most collegues, and even made a friend or two along the way :) I find that some are always stand-offish, though, and as I do not know why, I really don't hold that against anyone. Now that I work from home, I still find it easy enough to get along with online collegues and clients. Many people just naturally do keep their work life and their private or family lives separate, though. Karen

hi billzehua, i worked for two years, and i always on this position in the company, it means that i did not change a job. i work in a small company, and there only are 10 people in my company. they are near my age, and we get well along with each other. even when i first come here, they were so friend to me, they would ask me to join their party.
