Wifi Reception

How can I make my laptop wireless reception stronger? I usually just get 1 bar on the wifi signal and sometimes it just cuts off. I tried updating the driver to the latest one and tweaking the settings but there's no change in wireless reception. Is there an external antenna that I can use so I can get more signal strength?

Sometimes wireless adaptors and routers can boost signle, but it doesn't always help. Depends on where you are and how far or close you are to the source you're trying to draw from. If you know where the connection is located that you're trying to draw from, you should move closer to get the best possible recption.

I know that there are some appareils as booster as regards wi-fi connection but i don't know if they work or not in reality!!Normally if the signal is no as strrong as you can imagine before establish the connection you must change your position of your laptop and try it where he signal is really ok!!CHeck also in the distance btween you and your router if there something that i cna be an obstacle for waves..

There are WIFI booster sold everywhere but I am not really sure if they really do work. Some also claims that there are DIY WIFI boosters so you might want to check them out nd make one for yourself to save you money. I still believe that the best way to boost WIFI signal is by going near the broadcaster. I have my own WIFI connection at home and I dont really have any boosters or have done any tweaks to make it better. I just go next to my WIFI router and VOILA, I have maximum signal! :D Good Luck!
