I would be in the homeless shelter tonight. My daughter would be right there with me. How about you would you want to stay with family. Or would you have no choice but to enter a shelter?

I suppose I'd have places to go, but I really would not want to go there as I would not be wanted and the environment would be stressful. So, may answer is yes, I would have a place to go, but a shelter might be a truly better option.

upsidedown pinapple I need to disabuse you of one thing, you cannot stay in a homeless shelter for more than a week, people evidently think these are homes away from homes, the fact is they are not all that great and there are a long list of people needing the samehelp. best to find friends and or relatives as you cannot stay very long in a homeless shelter nor would you really want to.

Yes, I would have some place to go. I have two daughters who would never let me become homeless fortunately. Plus, my sister would take me in too. I guess I'm very lucky in that sense as so many other people would be out in the street, which is very sad. Do you have any other family you would be able to go to with your daughter until you got on your feet?

I would not want to stay with anyone else. I need my space and privacy. The shelter would give me that. I have a place now and plan to keep up on my rent. Thanks for asking.

Hi. SharonJohnson. Are you the old giftsandbagscom? I am being evicted at this time. My family and I plan to stay here for the weekend. We are planning on moving into our new trailer by this weekend. If we did not have anywhere else to go, we would be renting a motel room until we move into our new place.

If my husband and I were evicted, we are lucky to have family nearby to go live with. But I hope to never have that happened. Things are rough right now but I have been told by my grandparents and my father that if it ever got to the point where we had used all our money for rent and didn't have enough to put at least fifty dollars worth of groceries in the house, to not let pride get in the way and ask for help.

My husband and I would have to drive 10 hours to see my parents. I know they would take me in. My husband's brother would never offer for us to live with them. (we do not get along with his wife). My parents would be able to put us on the couch until we get back on our feet. I guess worse case we would sleep in the car because my husband can not afford to lose his job.

Thankfully I am not in that situation, but if I were ... there are places that me and my son could go live ... with friends and family. Thankfully I would not have to go to a shelter. But the truth is that I had rather live in my very own home. But before I would live on the street, I would stay at any place that I had available.

If I was evicted for a personal reason then I would look for another shelter for me. It is also a learning experience for me to know what is life after being evicted and realize many things for myself and my consolidations. Sometimes, even things are hard to accept, this is part of life we must admit and face the reality. That, somehow and somewhere it would bring us to a better understanding of what had lead us and what we really wanted in life.
