Do you own an electric blanket? I was so happy when I got this for Christmas! It was the ONE thing I really really wanted, mainly because it gets so cold in my house at night. Where did you get yours? And how much did you pay for it? I think my mom paid about $40 for it at JcPennys. But I love it! Do you own one?

I do not own one but I've thought about getting one a few times. However the problem is, I get hot while sleeping and I know that if I had one and used it to sleep with I'd just end up too hot to sleep and it just wouldn't work out well at all. I'll have to skip getting one for now I think.

yes,the electric blanket can make you warm, but it also can make the electromagnetic radiation which is really bad for us, so I had one, but I never use it unless I have to, maybe I'll choose the original way like hot-water bag. I think it's more healthy and environmental protection.Anyway, it's just my point of view. lol....

I love my electric blanket for cold nights, but so many times I get told how dangerous they are aaaand you probably will also, but some years ago a friend of mine who is a fireman told me the only thing that makes them dangerous is that proplr take them off the bed in summer and fold them anf put them in a cupboard with things on top even, folding them bends and breaks the wires so just leave your blanket on the bed permanently....I am sure you will enjoy your blanket.

The weather is really cold and icy at the moment. I would therefore love to get an electric blanket. When I went to stay with my aunt she let me have an electric blanket on her guest bed. It made her guest bed delightfully warm and I felt really comfortable. I usually use a hot water bottle. However I think if I used an electric blanket all my bed would be warm.

Yes we do but haven't been able to turn it on all season. Ours broke. When we did want to turn it on it just wasn't getting hot, so we figured out after checking the plugs that it just wasn't giving heat. We'll have to get another one, maybe they'll go on sale soon, but I haven't checked to see. Not sure where the best place to buy one would be.

Lucky person you are. But here in chennai we never feel cold. Here minimum temp is may be 20C. If it is very cold means we switch off fan that's all.And in summer it reaches 40C. So I want to buy AC.
