We are being nailed with snow right now and are suppose to get over a foot by tomarrow. Is anyone else getting hit with this much snow, or is it just us?

wish we had a lot of snow, remember when I was a kid we got snow one winter and the snow drifts were 6/7 foot high and was a few feet deep where it hadn't drifted. Wish we got more heavy snow here in uk would be brilliant lol,

I'm in eastern canada and its looking pretty snowy right now. Might be lake-effect. I'm just about to turn on the weather network and find out. Where are you from?

where are you at? i am in Canada, in southern Ontario (about an hour or so north of Buffalo, NY) and we have just enough snow to cover the ground. not even an inch is on the ground here. i know we are expecting a bit of snow, but not even another inch though.

Not at the moment, a few days it came down so heavy though! I was outside walking home with a friend from the local shopping centre, it was so all beautiful! I loved it!

What is your general location? viz., town and state. Not here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland at the moment. And though snow could be thought of in some respects as holy, thank God, no. I live in a city and we're supposed to shovel our sidewalks after a storn. I understand that and don't mind. I need the exercise. But what I do mind is clearing off the walk and a snow plow comes through. Kiss your clean sidewalk good-bye. And, they have to come through--I live on a state road within the city and it is a snow emergency route. So I jolly well wait until there's a great possibility they have finished plowing before I shovel my sidewalk.
