Not sure what this HTML sortie is about. Just experimenting for now. If useful, I will try to change it by the end of the week so you all have something reasonable to see!

Imo, real Christian women, and men, do not "shack up." I make a distinction between real Christian, and "Christian." "Christians" are plentiful. True Christians are rare. You do have an interesting observation though.

Aye. The Word of God abides for ever! It brings life, both physical and spiritual. Very powerful Very comforting too.

PastorP responded to a discussion called Why do we read the Bible is a question I read this morning and it did make me in the bible.

It is spiritual food for us. And, as we grow in Christ, we always discover new (to us) treasures that encourage or / and correct us.

Here's some verses in regard to it... Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Greetings 1hopefulman You asked: >>Could you please tell me to what Scripture you are referring to when you say that the soul has to be subordinate to the spirit as I want to read it? Thanks! << Here's one... Ps 103:1 «A Psalm of David.» Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. _________________________________ >>>John 1:1 King James Version (KJV...

Excellent! In your opinion, would that align with what I said about Christ being the "salvation side" of God.

I really didn't look at the Greek text for that. I just feel the NIV is not a worthy read. I minister to people that have below average IQ that have great difficulty reading and comprehending. So I use the NKJV with them.

Greetings lizzyt2007. The term Trinity expresses the truth that God is One (not three) and subsists as Father, Son, Holy Spirit. The very first word in the Holy Bible that we come across that is translated God is elohim, which is plural (but it is constructed in the singular). If Christ is not God, then He should NEVER have accepted worship, for it is written, "Re 19:10 And I fell at his fee...

Well, these are not my ideas, but the Word of God, especially what I copied from John 15. I summarized a few items before that. Here's some of the fruit we are to bear: (Gal. 5:22-23) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Now, let me take one of those, "gentleness." There are man...
