Great! Another ptc going down! Again and again and again! It's funny many closed out this December. They've planned all this? Some admins are apologizing and some are just laughing. Those only alibis? Do you still believe their words after scamming us? I'm talking about astrobux. I reached minimum amount for payout this December and I was really excited to receive my money but then this message from astrobux admin broke my heart today! Read: (from astrobux admin) "Hi All, Since we've gone back online last Dec 8, 2009, we started a month long promotion of a very-cheap-special-upgrade of $49 (including $35 promo for 2days) as well as Advertising promo. But before Dec7, I thought of letting go of Astrobux because of the cash flow problem but, since money, effort and time (precious ones) were already spent into the program, I decided not to. Some had availed the special upgrade but MANY had filed a dispute against Alertpay/Paypal and chargeback transactions even after the 30 days grace period. I shouldn't have accepted credit card in the first place. In relation to that, AP had a negative balance and was forced to close. And regarding Paypal, after my account got limited due to 3rd party access, I just got a reply from them saying that my account will be forced to close down because of possible fraud (refer to email excerpt below) and whatever left on the account will be held for 180 days. Paypal fund was supposed to make Astrobux running maybe for the next 3 or 4 months but for the given 180 days, I don't think there will still be enough fund for payouts due to potential disputes and chargebacks. I did try to save Astrobux but I just can't get back the trust you had initially for the program and even maxed out one of my credit cards. I know for sure, all because of the number of downtimes and bugs which until now need fixing (or even after the site is closed). It's really our fault but only a few have reported regarding having excess referrals after recycling, it was also one of the factors. So, having said all the above, it is very sad to say but effective immediately, Astrobux ceases its operation and come to an end. The site will still remain functional until December 31st. I'm really sorry, I really am. Below is what I've got from Paypal. Dear Astrobux, We appreciate your interest in PayPal. Unfortunately our decision to close your account is final. We have observed activity in this account that is unusual or potentially high risk. (not sure how this could have happened, but pretty sure it was because of the recent chargebacks against astrobux) PayPal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in possible fraudulent or high risk behavior. Due to the potential risk of chargebacks or other action filed by buyers, your balance will be held 180 days from the date of your limitation. At that time, any remaining funds will be available for withdrawal. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter. Thanks again for contacting us. It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal. Sincerely, PayPal Account Review Department PayPal, an eBay Company" Damn! First hybux, then winbux, next buxtro, now astrobux! I know I miss some more. Now, who's next? Make a guess!

Buxchristmas has also vanished just after Christmas day . I tried to open the site but the message came , Access to this site is Forbidden , In last two months , I faced same situation in Pinebux, Linxsense , Facebookbux, Cashunion..all have vanished just to reappear again with new names , that is what I think.

Lol. I was also on that site. Buxchristmas is saying they will pay us just before Christmas. Maybe what they're really trying to say is they will vanish just before Christmas. Haha. I forgot to list buxchristmas on my discussion. Thanks for reminding! Lots of scams! shadow41

Ahaha. I joined that site because of referral exchange and it's okay that it's gone now. I'm just new to it anyway. What's really pissing me off is this astrobux! Argh! My direct referrals are very good. They're so active. Now I lost them too. Damn! shadow41

Absolutely correct , Buxchristmas only paid one day before Christmas , that too only they know who got paid. It was a real fraud which I joined even assuming that it will be a fraud. I am just annoyed with myself also.

I'm not as amazed that these places are closing right and left as I am that people keep joining them! After the first few hundred drop out, it would seem logical that even more would do the same. How many times does it take being slapped by them to get folks to stop signing up for losing propositions? The answer is forever, because too many don't check out the sites and many, even if they get bad reviews on it, are so hungry to get a penny for hours of work, they just keep on enlisting.

Hey. Yeah you should really be thankful you didn't waste your time in this bux site. I reached payout sadly in time when astro is going down. I guess I was just unfortunate since they are paying the last couple of months. shadow41

Argh!!! You cannot be serious! I was looking to join astrobux under your downline! I was so going to do that once I found a site!!! No! It was legitimate a while ago, every one had proof and it is listed on the legitimate list in multiple sites. Lucky I didn't join astrobux though! I hope Izybux doesn't become a scam soon. :( Oh well, I guess it cannot be helped... Who's next? I don't know... things like that happen. :( But I suppose you just can't do anything about it. :) Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope you'll be able to pay out a lot soon. :) Cheers from your friend, Nameless_
