Currently, i'm out of work, waiting on a call to return to the hospital, in the mean time my boyfriend works all day, and i'm home alone, bored out of my mind, most i do all day is watch tv, play with my dog and cat, and facebook lol, so i desperately need a hobby to pass away the time until i get my call. Any Suggestions?

hi fallengurl you would need something you do not need to leave the phone for I take it. for me its easy, writing, thats' my hobby. I started journaling when I came here to Gold Crest and its kept me from feeling bitter, and its occupied my time when I was not mylotting. You just write down any feelings you have, any worried, whatever makes you want to write, and dont 'censor it at first, just get your thoughts down. later you can 'pretty it up a bit.It helped me to get past a feeling of depression at having to live here when Idid not want to. I poured out my feelings on paper.I may never get it published but it has' made me feel a lot better.

i suggest to find a field that you are interesting to do that includes in order for you to enjoy and sustain of doing this kind of hobby. You might be interesting on the field of doing handy craft, painting, doing some sports activities, exercises, or blogging or writing, cooking or even cleaning the house.

try doing something different. like conquering your fears. =) or update your blog everyday, if you do not have a blog, I would suggest you create one now, that could also help you earn money in the future, you do not really need to be a great writer to have your own blog. =)

Hmm, have you ever considered learning an instrument or anything? What are you interested in doing? Maybe you can take that up especially if you have more time now or if you have some free time. How about reading? You can always get into a really good book whenever you have time. Plus, reading is good for you =] How about getting together with some friends when you know you will have a lot of time (or when you're not on call)? Also, what you could do, is MyLot while you have free time and maybe earn some extra money with other sites.

Hello, well there are different hobbies you can do. Here are some suggestions. You can read a good book, you can play online computer games, you can try to write a book, you can craft, you can try to learn another language. There are good learning CDs out there... You can take online surveys... Hope these will help.

can you go to the library and have a look at their craft and hobby section? you could also get movies from the library when you get tired of working on your hobby.

Hey, mate! I would suggest you to try to play some music instruments! It's very relaxing and interesting! :) For example you can try exercise on violin! It's heartful instrument, i'm playing it. Have a nice day! Happy New Year!

Have you considered photography? Other than the cost of the camera everything else is digital and won't cost anything. You can take pictures and then upload them to your computer. They can be shared on facebook or there are plenty of other free sites that allow friends to view them. There are also photo contests and many other opportunities. Try it, you might like it!!

Take out the camera and start photographing! You can also start a photography blog and publish all the photos that you have snapped. It can be really exciting and improve your skills in taking photos. I am thinking of doing it myself.

Hi. There is a lot of hobby that you can choose. If you are waiting on call, I think gardening is suitable for you. Try to plant different kind of flower. It will make your house more beautiful and you help green the earth. Plus when you stay at home, you can always stand by an be prepared when hospital calls you. Give it a try. :

I'm an enthusiastic cyclist and I would highly recommend this! Cycling isn't for everyone but I like the fact that it gives me freedom and lots of fresh air. If you can afford it and you haven't got a bike then you should purchase a mountain bike or a road bike if you prefer and get on out there! This is a great hobby and it keeps you fit as well. If you don't fancy that idea then I'm sure there a few other things you can do. You should do some research online. Try something new in any case and I'm sure that you will be content. Good luck. Andrew. Oh! I just want to add, the very fact that you are writing on My Lot and earning money, this is another great hobby and I put it up there at the top of the list, well underneath cycling anyway! Good luck. Andrew

When i have to pass time i get into things like expercising and self improvement like meditation. Also doing fun things for my family like baking or scrapbooking. Maybe getting involved with some sort of volenteering like with eldery or people with disablities. Volenteering can look really good on a resume if you ever needed it. Sometimes down time can be great to help with getting caught up on things you just never get finished when your busy like organizing the house or cleaning out the basement. Cleaning isnt very exciting but much easier to do when you have the extra time.

A hobby for me is having something to spend time of but I think if we can put a little tweak into it like earning while keeping yourself from boredom would be much better. Mylot is a really good place to kill time. you may not be earning a lot but at least you get rewarded for the time you spend in here. I have long abandoned by Facebook because of mylot and my other GPTs. :D
