They need Jack to Love Emily so when Patti makes the switch it will be tragic.I like Emily and Jack together. I like who Jack is when he is with her.this is going to end badly. i just feel it.

It's a soap. If your character is Too happy , they are written off .

How much do you want to bet that before he marries her Patti gets rid of her somehow and ends up married to Jack? I agree something is going on with the writers, it's like they are trying to rush through the story lines and are falling down on the job doing it.

Funny how small things like watching a television show tie us to people who are no longer with us. Memories are good. I'm glad you have such wonderful ones :)

I thought they looked great together with Jack in the tux and Emily in the red dress as they stood beside each other facing Phyllis. They aren't any quicker than Sharon and Adam about getting married and they are ony engaged so far. Sharon and Adam got engaged and married in the same night. Soaps do this all the time.

You're right...it really was rushed. I basically have had a hard time accepting that Jack could fall in love with another woman who just happened to have the same face as Mary Jane Benson, let alone for it happen almost immediately after the whole Patty saga unfolded. However, at least the engagement scene was rather well done. Once again I'm impressed with Stacy Haiduk's acting. I don't think they'll be happy for long, though...not if Patty has anything to say about it.

Patty will fine out somehow that Emily and Jack are getting married and then things will start to happen. Patty will switch places with Emily either before they get married or after which would make more sense because then the writers can hint that Jack thinks there is something different with Emily but not quite but his finger on what it is.

It is crazy to get married only after two weeks. I waited three years before I got married. I too like Emily, but it is too soon. I am sure Patti will find out soon enough and will do more damage. She hurt Summer because she thought that Phyllis was Jack's ex-wife Diane and she had apparently caught Diane and Jack making love on the couch.
I agree that the writing is getting bad, but it is still on the air. There are not too many Soaps left. They alreay took off one and another one is going off the air this year.
