An Awkward Situation

You're walking on a long hallway, then you see someone you know but you're not really close and you think this person feels the same way about you. There's still about 50 paces between you and this person. You don't want to wave first, he might not recognize you and won't wave back. Maybe he hasn't seen you yet. You try not to make eye contact. You get your phone from your pocket and pretend to read a text message. The distance between you is getting closer. In less than 10 steps you will cross paths. Then you thought what the heck, I'll just say hi. You raise your head, look at the person, gave a smile and say hi. You are right. He didn't know who you are and he just kept walking.

You are a wonderful person for being friendly!!!Why should you feel funny. The problem isn't really yours now is it??? I think it's great when even strangers are friendly and nice. How would the world change if we treated everyone like our best friend?

Yea, that was an awkward one but somehow, it may bring a good effect if the person came to recognize you. I guess same of that happens to anybody. IF the person have not recognized you, got the feeling of ouch. But that is how life goes. Expect the unexpected. Just be ready if ever next time, the person got your attention and made a new door for acquaintances.

LOL! That really is an awkward situation indeed! OKay, here's another one: You are standing in the train carriage and you see someone you're not really close to. You try to avoid contact but too late- they looked at you and they saw you looking at them. You didn't know whether to wave or not but then you thought, 'why not?' so you wave. They waved back. It turned out they were waving to the person behind you...
