Hey guys, which was your first vechicle, which you bought as a student. Usually most for most students it will be a cycle, but after the cycle, what was the vechicle, you bought, was it a motor cycle or a car, and what was the brand.

Ah! My first car...It was a three door tiny little Honda Civic, it was a tiny car with a manual choke no air conditioning and it was bright orange! I came across a photo of it not too long ago...How I loved that car! I got my licence and bought it about two weeks later, I remember the car salesman delivered it to my house and I took it for a spin straight away. I was so excited I almost drove through a Stop sign!

I cant beleive that these car companies are changing the name of the cars in every country,In India Honda Civic is actually a sedan and it is considered to be the luxury car with its hybrid engine and etc..etc and thats great that you had such a car as your first, but i wonder if its the same that we are having in India today, but anyway it would have been great fun for you having that sort of car without any ac..

The Honda Civic as it was then was not a particularly luxurious car; it was just a small hatchback. I believe the Honda Civic these days is quite different and a lot more expensive!

mine is a Nissan Altima 2005 model, kinda greenish color. But, this is a car my dad gave me and my twin sis so not sure if it counts . I'm not much into cars, if I'd buy a vehicle it'd be the yamaha motorcycle dubbed Midnight Warrior, my dream ride!

Thanks, I am ^w^ and it's not were it's are =P I'm young I still have it, lol. I just got it a few months ago actually O.o it's a great car I admit, it's very stable in every aspect, nothing goes to the extreme in neither a bad nor a good way in it, and it's just the right size not small nor big, it's perfect for beginner drivers. I'd like to make some adjustments to its' appearance though, I'm not very fond of that greenish color O.o

well it was kind of my first car since i was married and didnt have my lisense yet but did have my permit.. it was an 1986 (i think 1986) mazda 626.. my husband went and bought it without me with my family from a "family friend" at a dealership.. the piece of crap broke completely down within 2 weeks of buying it and we ended up trading it in for a brand new car some where else.. some stupid belt or chain broke and took out several major parts of the car with it.. i stayed away from used cars for almost 8 years before i bought my newest car which was used at the time.. but i have to tell you i will never forget that car!! gives me nightmares!

Oh Oh..you really would have had bad time with your car and i hope that doesnt occur to anyone else and yeah second's cars are a bit tough to handle and we in India also have the same problem with these sort of cars and we also try to buy new ones or the ones which are refurbished by the factory itself, because they work like the new ones...

Yes!Cycle will be the first vehicle for almost all of us.And we all would have longed to drive a motored vehicle.I got a moped as my first vehicle from the "kinetic"company which was named Luna.It gave some 60 kms mileage and it was with me for more years.I was excited when I first learned to drive it.Now that model did not exist at all.

I have seen the kinetic luna in chennai as one of my friend was having that vehicle when we were studying 10th class and he had told that it was a real scrap as most of the time it wouldnt either start or stop in the middle and the mileage was even more worse it seems.. anyway both of you have sold it now..be happy...

Hello my friend balacancer22 Ji, Well, as a lady, I never bought any type of vehicle and as a student, no doubt I rode cycle belonging to my elder sister. But my hubby bought RAJDOOT motor cycle, but not at that young age, while going to school/college. He bought from his own salary, but first time ever he drove was 'NORTON/MATCHLESS' motor cycles without shockers and of 3-5 hp. They were very much robust in constrcion and could take anyaount weight unlike these days. May God bless You and have a great time.

Wow thats really great that you know your hubby's vehicle specifications,i thought that most women do not even care what type of bike their hubby has,but i think you are not of that type..thats good that he had a Rajdoot because it s such a famous vehicle that people use it now also with modifications done over the body..3-5hp must have been good at that time and it would have been the fastest vehicle before 20 years but now the scenario has changed..

Hello my friend balacancer22 Ji, Well, my hubby is very fond of fast speed . He tells me many experiences about his bike, he started learning with Norton and Matchless (3.5 HP) without shockers. He used to drive them about 200 to 250 Km at a stretch, later in 1964, he purchased Rajdoot for IR Rs.1425/- on road, then he had Hero Majestic moped, and in 1989, he bought Bajaj Priya (still on the road), and then he bought LML 125cc PULSE. He is always keen to drive and enjoys tehm. May God bless You and have a great time.

Yeah i had a bicycle during my school days. I miss those days very much. Now in college i have a motor cycle Hero Honda Passion. I like to drive it most at the night in the neon street lights. The dream car would be a Audi. I hope to have one. But currently the Passion is serving me well .

Hero Honda Passion is a good vehicle and most of the hero honda vehicles are of the same quality..well getting an audi is not a easy thing but as our ex-president Dr.Abdul kalam told it is not bad to dream and your dream may come true one day;like he had his dream of developing a missile for India..I pray God to give you a nice and good audi and a happy life around the car.. Happy Mylotting

I bought my first vehicle when I was about 19 years old, I think. It was a Mazda GLC. GLC is supposed to stand for good little car but boy, was that a joke. It was a piece of junk because it was a used car.
• India

I heard that Mazda was really a good company for seconds cars but now since your option is different i have to check it out in reality and good that you had a car as your first one,we in India mostly use motor bikes as our first vehicle since thats the best way to learn a vehicle in India due to the bad roads, poor infrastructure and lack of space..
