I will have to ask for everyone that responds to this to tone your response down so I can read because I have the no explicit preference on my account..... I am a taxpayer and live in Kentucky. Here as in many other states we have programs to catch drug dealers and such. The one in my area in called Unite..It is a wonderful program for getting the drug dealers out of our county and state. As some of you know my husband and I had our grandbaby for awhile and had to go to court over her... It was finally suggested in court that we could not see her because we can not get along with the mother and father at this time....Anyway the dad who brought all this on as soon has he got custody handed her over to his mother and my step-daughter signed sole custody over to him for a car.... We are so sick over the situation because we raised her for 14 months. So here is the end the dad mother is a known druggie... she does not care to tell anyone that she smokes p*t and she even snorts pills. It was brought to our attention last week she is doing this in front of the children. Now we are finding out that the dad supposedly works for the Unite as an informant so that is why they got by against social services when we turned in the dad before for the bruises on our grandbaby. With the holidays everything is moving slowly on this but I have already contacted Unite with this information and told them that they are losing money on these druggies because they are trying out the product before selling to the outside public for them. I am being very bold with everyone and letting all the information out. I have also contacted the Asst.District Attorney who is working along side with me on this.... The catcher on that is she is running for DA in May so she is going to be a real good help because I told her she helps me I help her in May..... What would you do if your grandchild was in a h*ll hole like this?

I would take a long look at both sides of it. If you did not see them do it. Your accusing them of things you have heard. I would put my safety and my husbands first. The baby is your grand of course. But she has a mother and a father to care for her. let them get caught up in the mess. Then you be there to take her. But the way your doing things. I would not be surprised if someone came after you.

The father fought for custody after not seeing her but two times when she was over a year old... After he got custody he gave her to his mom and my step daughter gave sole custody to the father for a car ... she only has liberal visitation not even joint which means in KY if she asks to see her and he does not want her too he has the right to say NO which we already know he is going to let her see her.... He only let her see her to get on her good side so she would sign the papers.....My poor grandchild has been given away so many times by the mother and father it like she is an object instead of a child....

hagirl, Honestly, I do not think Unite is really doing a good job here. I mean how can they support an informant who is a criminal at the same time. I can understand getting rid of the dealer (head of the snake) but I think the system can do without a criminal who rats. I just hope that you will be able to regain custody of your grandchild and I sure dread him going through another day yonder. Also, that there will be a revamp with the organization's operation mode. Take care and have a nice day.

I did not realize that it was called Unite in Singapore also.... That just shows you how wide spread this program really is.... That is the thing for them to rat on someone else for less time they are not suppose to be going back to their old ways....
