Third division side Leeds Utd. have knocked Manchester Utd. out of the FA Cup 1-0, thanks to the goal from the ever improving kid Beckford. The war of the roses lived up to the billing with Leeds taking the war to the United and looked much the better side!! In fact, they had more clear cut chances to increase the lead than United to equalize. What's your say on the match? Cheers! Ram

It's a big dissapointment. Now, I think Man. United should buy new attacking players. Man. United have a strong team. But the other teams have known everything about the strategy and how the Red Devil's boys play the ball. They need a very flair player who can improve the play. I think, David Silva will be a good one.

David Silva is a very good player, no doubt he can be compared to the likes of xabi, xavi, inesta and Silva is in the line up more often than fabregas. But the big question is even if Fergie gets Silva in the transfer window can he settle down, get used to the premier league and make a contribution this season? or can anyone from the current line up stand up and make the difference? the season is going to be a long and hard one for man utd.

That's a very valid point. Traditionally with the possible exception of Torres, people moving from the Spanish La Liga take around half a season to settle down into the Premier League. Cheers! Ram

I think they are missing Ronaldo's creativity in the middle and some one to share the workload of Rooney up front. Cheers! Ram

Yes, there were some fringe players like Wellback and Obertan in the team, but a team which contains Rooney, Berbatov, Gary Neville and later on Owen, Valencia and Giggs you cannot call it a second string side can you? Cheers! Ram

No you certainly cannot.. Fergie made a huge mistake by letting Tevez go. This team is very much dependent on Rooney & Giggs.

Looks like Fergie is pretty angry as well. He has already come out and said that most of the players from yesterday's match would not play in the Carling Cup Semis. Cheers! Ram

what a shame, i have seen that match and in my opinion man.united was too difficult to show their real performance, maybe it becomes from their young players. yesterday sir alex mostly gives a large rule for young players. as we know, their young players heve inconsistent plays.

Yes, that is why usually the Cups are good breeding ground for youngsters. But what was surprising in this defeat was that there were only 2-3 youngsters, while all the usual suspects, Rooney, Berbatov, Neville, Owen, Valencia all were present. Even Wes Brown is a old hand. Cheers! Ram

i Saw that match and they seriously lack the cutting edge in the midfield especially delivering balls to the forwards and taking the ball from one end to the other like christiano ronaldo. Even though they had a fairly decent squad to play with, they played without any life in the game while leeds on the other side were very sharp and they definitely deserved victory...

Yes, and you really fear for Man Utd as Leeds have just shown that if unlike Wolves you go to United to win a game, then you have a very good chance to win. I just love this season as almost any team can upset one of the top four boys!! Cheers! Ram
