They say when it's in your blood, that's what will run through your veins until the day you die. If you're a writer, your a writer. I believe that the best way for us to use this gift given to us is to surround ourselves with others who have the same passion, and use eachother as supports and motivators. Are there any fellow writers out there who would like to swap links to their work with eachother and me?

I post some of my work on Triond so I can make some money. It's not my best work but as long as people view it, I get paid. I also post photos there. You can see them at www.triond.com/users/Mary+Patricia+Bird.
Our writing group also has a website. I have a few items posted there, posted before I joined Triond. That web address is www.owg.netfirms.com.

I also consider myself a writer. actually, though i like writing, the reason I started writing is not because I'm good at it. the real reason is that since I'm about 4 years old, i liked to make stories, in my mind I mean. well, at that time my stories were as simple as the princess and the dragon, I guess that happened to us all when we were kids. with the time, my stories and characters got better, and a couple of years ago I decided to try writing them... and poof! I loved writing them! that was unexpected, I thought.
unfortunatly I don't have any of my works published somewhere, but someday maybe I'll do it (and earn some money by doing it, of course)

I agree. Writing is all i can really think to do, and me and a few friends are actually working on a system for connecting artists/writers/etc together with similar creative types to attempt to help people connect and inspire one another. Until then, i'd love it if you could check out my work at Catdrake.deviantart.com and please, for the love of god, comment. I need feedback, good, bad, whatever.
