do you respond to all the responses what you get for your discussion ?

Hi Karthi, In the beginning when I first joined mylot and didn't know how it worked I never really responded to the comments on my discussions unless they really interested me. One of the issues I had was the fact that a lot of the comments the creators gave to me were like, well I always thought of them as pointless and that used to annoy me (I am stupidly easy to annoy overall) and so I didn't want to leave those sort of messages for other people in case it would annoy them in return. Later on I learnt that it is like protocol on mylot to respond to everything no matter how lame it is, even if it is just to thank someone. I don't find these easy to do because of the reason above, but in the subsequent discussions I started I would try and comment on everything, even if it was only to thank someone for taking the time to read what I did and to try and respond to it. I still don't respond to one liners though because they never really took the time and I don't see the point in patronising them in return, that and it saves me time. Having to do all this commenting though has changed how I use mylot and I now only start discussions about things that really interest me otherwise I find the commenting murder. Alas I have never really managed to go back and comment on all my previous discussions, but I think most have been commented on so I am all right . All the best, Dranz

I do very few discussions and when i do them i try to respond to as many responses as i can. Sometimes i respond only to those whose responses i have found interesting or worth responding to. In a few cases the replies are in a similar vein and if that is so then i avoid responding since my comments may follow the same thread.

hello karthi... when i was starting here, i don't really comment back on the responses that i've got in my discussions..hehe but now, as much as possible, i try my best to comment back to acknowledge their response to mine, but there are also times that i feel like i have nothing to say and well, we are not obliged to comment back in every response we get and so i just leave it, but definitely i read. but i guess its more healthy and fun to interact with all our respondents, that way, we are not just earning good, but we were able to gain more friends as well... have a nice day!

Ha, not usually to be honest with you. I'm all over the place here. I'm not organized enough nor do I ever seem to have enough time to go back and interact with people who respond to my discussions. But I almost ALWAYS read ALL of the responses I get. And I do appreciate htem, totally.

Ya its true my freind. I too don't respond to all the discussions my friend. But to the few which have a real value in responding my friend. Wishing you a warm happy morning my friend.
