Do you think having money is part of enjoying life?

I feel that it is hard to be happy and enjoy life if you dont have atleast a little extra money. Like today, my mom will call me when she gets up and probably want me to come see her but I dont have the gas money to do so, that makes me a little sad that i can't do something as simple as go see my mom. I never have to go long with out gas or anything for that matter, but the times that I do it makes me sad. I only wish to have enough money to pay bills and still have a good amount left over. I wish that humans where more like the aliens in the book "Host". They just went to a store and got what they needed and they would take inventory, no money needed, just trust and no one would ever take what they didn't need. Do you wish we where like that? Do you find that having money is part of enjoying life?

I am so sorry to hear your story. It happens, and you have to work to get over it. About what you mention, people just go to store and got what they need for free may happen in the future if we have a lot of robots that can do everything for us. In present life, the store's owner need money to live too, you know. Money is not everything, but from my point of view, you have to have money in order to have a good life I want fabulous, that is my simple request All things fabulous, bigger and better and best I need something inspiring to help me get along I need a little fabulous, is that so wrong?

I believe that money is just a part of enjoying life but we should remember that happiness does not rely on money alone. If for example like with the case of your mom, maybe yes you need the gas money in order for you to visit your mom, but please bear in mind that there is still other means of spending time with your mom...there are other means of communication...how about try skype? it's like seeing her and talking with her at the same time. THere are technologies made specially meant for such situations. There will always be alternatives in life it's just up to you to appreciate and see it in a different view. Hope I have helped you here. Happy mylotting.

Hi Ambitiouslyleiah, I would answer yes if money helps me get what I need to enjoy life. Many things require money in this world though there are forms of enjoyment that does not partake of monetary transactions. Money is ultimately just a currency. The more of it we have, the more easily we can "barter" for something we need or want. I need more dough!! Send me some!!!

Hi. Ambtiouslyleiah. I feel that having money would make life very much enjoyable. You are not the only person that gets low on gas. My husband does all of the time. It is like he has to borrow gas money from someone every now and then. It gets to be kind of embarrassing. You are not by yourself. I would like to have enough money to pay my rent and then plus some extra spending money too. I don't want to lack. I want to have enough. It feels good when you can go to the store and buy what you need without worrying about if you will have enough of money to pay for whatever you are buying. Having money does make life enjoyable, I agree. Without any money we would not be able to enjoy ourselves when we would have to go somewhere that requires money. I dislike it when I can't even get the things that I need when I don't have any money That is why I am doing these various online jobs, so that I can have money to buy the things that I really need. You are not alone in this. Always know that.

Hello Ambitiouslyleiah me too foten do think as well as use money for some enjoyment and easing some work out. Most of the time the money plays an imp role in easing our work by making it in less time. For instance if wana go to place would required 1 hour, but instead use an car, bus, etc would reach in 15 min time, but at a price of fare.So money ca only be used to ease up the time limit mostly and rest fo the enjoyment depends upon us, whether its our own wish or not.Though sometimes we also have to understand other persons wishes.Anyways Money is an kind of thing which eases out in some activities in our life.Well the way you are stating is just like barter or old dwelling system, based on trust and words.Botht he systems are good even now also in some rural areas its stil working.Anyways Keep it up with the current surrounding system, Happy mylotting.

Hello,Ambitiouslvleiah, it's true that money is very important in our life, but money is not all of our life. There is much of things that you can't get by money, for example, your family, your friends, and your love. Your mum would not be sad like you think if you take no money back to your home, your parents will feel happy just because you come back to home, and they just want to see you and stay with you for several days, that's all, it's enough. So in my opnion, money can take you physical happy but could not take you spiritual happy sometimes.

I agree that money is an important part to finding happiness. There's a lot of things in life that cannot be acquired without money but there are also a lot of things that can make us happy that doesn't cost us anything like a walk in the park, window shopping and youtube (haha). I'm sorry you can't visit your mother at the moment but maybe you can enjoy the free things in life while you save up money.

Money can't buy happiness but you sure can't live without money. People that want to live well need to earn a certain amount of money. We no longer hunt or grow our own food. We basically can't do anything on our own anymore. However, you shouldn't try to find happiness by buying things in department stores. The only way I enjoy life is spending time with people and doing things that I enjoy. I try to make a modest income but don't make work my life.

money can't buy happiness but it can surely make life easier and misery more bearable. Money is also needed to have fun or enjoy life, with money you can go in different places and experience a lot of things, but it can also cause trouble if not handled well.

I really do think people need money to enjoy life because how can one enjoy life without it? I have no job and the longer this goes on for the harder it will be for me to find work as I have no "recent work experience." Something will turn up, I'm sure but I can't even go on courses as they are not free anymore, which REALLY annoys me! It's the same for the younger generation too. My nephew is 20 and he cannot sign on for unemployment benefit for 13 weeks (coming to an end shortly) even though he didn't resign from his last job, he was laid off. The government will find any loophole they can to not pay unemployment benefit...and I don't get any either due to my husband working full-time. The only way either of us would get cash if we were to bang out kids...and I'm not doing that to get money, I'm not that desperate lol. I do sympathise with you though and I agree with you; life would be so much simpler without money. It may happen one day!

I do believe money is a part of enjoying life. You have to have money to have food, to have a home, to have a car. And if you can't afford necessities then how can you be happy? You'll sit there and worry about losing your home and things like that. It causes a lot of stress. And I'm pretty sure people incredibly stressed don't enjoy their life so much.

Money is very important to enjoy life. Many people say that money is not everything, but it is not true,if we face the reality. In life with out money it is very difficult to live.Money is how we can afford all of our wants and needs that makes us happy.I think money can make me happy but not buy me happiness. Happiness cant be purchased at a store or online, but I'd definitely be happy if I was out of debt.

In my opinion, it's not having money, but spending money in a good way is part of enjoying life. Obviously, before spending it, we have to have it, and in order to have it, we have to earn it.

I think you could enjoy life without money, if everyone else thought like that too, but they don't, so I would have to agree with you that a little extra money does make life more enjoyable.

I believe that you can be happy and enjoy life without money. I've been able to enjoy some things without money, but I have yet achieved becoming completely humble. Your idea of the book, that would be nice, but I doubt it would work out, there's always that person or group of people that have the need to get advantage over others. Competition is part of society, kinda sad and pathetic. I feel that having money DOES allow people to enjoy life more, but that's because many of the things that we wish to do in our life cost money. I'm only 18, but one of the things in my bucket list is to travel around the world, in order to do that I need money. So, I guess it depends on the person's dreams, perspective, and surroundings to know the answer, either way all answers will be right.

I think that It isn't hardly necessary. It's possible to enjoy life without have money. I know many peoples who find her happyness in simple things that no depends of money. But it's very good and helps so much because there are some things that you just can do having some money to pay the dispenses like travel or give a present for a special people.

You have to be rich to enjoy life. If you're poor you cannot enjoy it because you cannot buy anything. People say money doesn't buy happiness but it actually does. You can buy practically anything with money. If you're poor you cannot buy anything which makes you sad.

It is not always true but more money usually doesn't hurt. If you have A HECK OF A LOT MORE (like a few billion by today's standards), then that may cause some trouble (just go imagine), otherwise "a bit" more dough *usually* can't hurt.
