As far as I know usually "E" series are business oriented phone and "N" series are more of multimedia phones.., And Does all "E" series use only s60 v3 os? If this is true then is 5800 an "N" series which uses s60 v5? I Just want to know which category does 5800 falls into?

Hello there! Aside from N and E series, nokia produced XpressMusic and their latest release, the 'X' series. Nokia 5800 is under series 60, 5th edition. N97 and N97 mini are also under this platform.

Ya.I know But XpressMusic was created to compete with walkman brand of sony ericsson, xpressmusic just means that phone is optimized for better music while 'N' series is for smart phones that are packed with as many features in a single device. ever heard of nokia super nova phones? that's xpressmusic equivalent for design and style. But "x" series changed it all, so do the new N800, N810 and N900 which are the only nokia Phones with "N" series brand that do not run a symbian o.s but thats for future discussion when more x and n series are released as of now my question is simple isn't 5800 feature rich to be branded as "N" or "E" series? I know it is, So Why place it in not-so-feature rich 'xpressmusic' category? I can't wrap my head around this thats all..

i think that xpress music was created just to compete towards devices that normally have advanced music attitudes as some from sony,or even ipod and so on....as regards characteristics in my opinion are too low to consider them in the n series!!
