In 2009 I watched 'Couple's Retreat' and I have found out I can buy it on disk from 8th February 2010. I can't wait to buy a copy of it. It is one of the best movies that has come out lately. Do you watch a movie and then buy it on disk? Have you got many disks of movies in your home?

Because I never go to the cinema to watch movies I have accumulated a large collection of DVDs which I enjoy adding to, probably because I am a complete film geek. But what I have found is that although I don’t go to the cinema I may catch a movie shown on TV often by accident, either a premier or an older one and then end up buying it on DVD following that accidental viewing.

Hi max, I have hundreds of movies on disc. I went through a stage, and still are, where I wanted a library of musicals, fifties westerns, nd lod black and whits movies. In retirement those films give me much more pleasure than most modern ones. Cheers, mike.

I don't own many DVDs now but I've been thinking lately that there are several movies that I watch every time they come on TV so I might as well buy them if I can find them at a reasonable price. I do have a few TV series sets that I'd gotten to get "caught up" on shows I hadn't watched from the beginning. Annie

Too many 'things' in my house, so I rarely buy movies for myself any more. Usually the children get one or two movies each every year. I have so many videos that I need to go through (to see if they've deteriorated and aren't watchable any more), but I just don't have the time or the energy.

I am a DVD horder!! I always buy the films when they get released if I enjoyed it although generally I don't buy when they first come out as I wait until they get reduced down a bit so then I can afford to buy more in one go!

Hi I prefer watching movies in the cinema especially if the movie has sound effects that are only projected well in cinema studios. But I guess watching movies in the privacy of your own home is equally enjoyable as long as you have a very good sound system. I do not have many disks because normally I would download movies from the internet. However, for movies that I really like, I would purchase the disks so that I can watch the movie relaxingly for a few times and I can also add them to my favourite disks collection.

I don't buy the disc because my nephew likes to swipe-friction the disk so cannot be played. Usually, I download from website and save it on my hard disk then after watch it, I delete those movies.

We "had" many disks but my kids don't do well with them. They get scratched and messed up. To be honest we have only bought 1 in the last like 6 months. We mostly watch movies online. We have seen almost everything you can think of. We also watch our cable tv online too since we don't have it.
