Does it also happen to you too that you will be moved/touched by some books when you are reading, but after some time, you forget almost everything about that book? Then you read it again and find a lot of new knowledge there.

This happens to me all the time since reading is one of my favorite hobbies is easy to get distracted with a new story all the time.

Yes I have done this myself plenty of times when I reread a book over again. I like rereading books over. It seems like there is a part in them that I missed the first time I read the book. Then sometimes after I haven't read the book in a really long time it is like a brand new book.

It is true that the first time we read a book, we might not be able to read all the details, but when we re-read it some time later, we will find some that we did not notice. So that's why we say the more you read it, the better you will be able to understand it.

you're right. There's several books I've reread and I end up with way more details than which I had read/put attention to when I read the book the first time.

I read a lot of books and as a rule I remember the general details of all of them. There is one book though, that I seem to have some kind of mental block about! I've bought the thing at least three times, each time reading the cover and thinking it would be a good read. Then I get home, start reading and discover that this is one of the few books I quit without finishing! It's like that song, "The Cat Came Back." Maybe if I bought the book one more time and kept it on my bookshelf I'd end this ridiculous cycle!

Isn't that interesting how that happens. I am finding out that is the case with the book I am reading now and have read before. Sometimes I remember the chapters and say Oh yeah, I remember now. Then I go to the next chapter and think how is it I can't remember what happens next. Go figure. I am getting old though.

there are a lot of books I've read that gave a huge impact in my life.it either I learned a lesson or change my ways.when The Secret came out I was skeptical about it.when I borrowed it from a friend I learned a lot from it.I learned to start thinking positively.
