Staring blankly into space.

I find myself staring blankly into space at odd times during the day. I get lost in thought very easily. There are times where I have a train of thought and it gets derailed. I think about one thing and then it leads to another. Eventually I get so lost in thought that I stare into space and really lose track of what's happening around me. Has to this happened to you? Have you gotten lost in so many thoughts at once, that you just stare blankly into space without any alternative. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one.

Hi megamatt. I imagine that has happened to everyone. Depending what it is, sometimes it is good for us and sometimes it is not so good. It appears to me this is one way our brain tries to analyze things, almost akin to thoughts, or the same thoughts, cycling through our minds. I would think as long as it is constructive and not destructive (leads you into a bad mood, or worry) it is probably ok occasionally. It happened to me today, but I was a tad drowsy. When this happens, it would be good we stay on the safe side and practice Philippians 4:8 in regard to our thinking.
