I know. But really, is it necesary to eat it so awfully raw. In my eyes it is raw if it is medium. I eat my steaks like in axtra well done. If someone near me eats there steak rare, i can actually hear that poor thing moo. How do you like your steak?

I do like a nice rare steak. the meat is really tender and sweet that way. if it goes at all the other side of medium I find it tough, dry and flavourless. the only downside with a rare steak is how quickly it cools down. but it tastes so good. all the best steaks make their own ketchup, so to speak

LOL I am so sorry to say but I like it practically mooing. I like it really rare and I like it with the juice (I'll call it juice so I don't gross you out), I can't tolerate it if it well done because it is much tougher and loses a lot of its flavor and tenderness. Medium rare is as bout as cooked as I can handle it.

I learned many years ago how to cook a GOOD STEAK. I am not referring to a cheap cut of steak, but something on the line of Filet Mignon, T-Bone or similar. The longer a good steak stays on the fire, the closer it is to being a disaster. I, myself, prefer my steak to be from rare to medium rare, as that is as tender as it can be and still edible. If cooking it in a frying pan, make sure that your pan is cast iron and is very hot. Sear it on both sides and, whatever else you do, please do not put anything on it while it is cooking. Let the folks that are eating it put their own salt and pepper on it. Do not hide the flavor with steak sauce, either.
