I was reading the comic strip Dilbert when I came across a strip that was describing how the pointy haired boss was telling his call center staff about the new product they are launching. And the manual for the product is only available on a grain of rice that was written in pig Latin. I was wonder, what in the world is pig Latin? What is the difference between Pig Latin and Latin? Anyone can explain to me? Please?

wickedlove has explained it! We have our own version of this in Singapore - I'm not sure whether you also used it - F language. And G language. How are you in F language would be 'howfow are-far you-fou?' say it very fast and it's harder for people who don't know the code to decipher it. we still use it to say things in our parents' presence so they don't understand it. g language is more complex. for how are you it goes 'how-li-gow are-la-gar you-lou-goo'? and harder to understand if you are not in the know. hee.

They have such languages? I have never heard of the F language or the G language! There is a vocabulary for them? Mine mine... learning the second language already made my hair stand on ends! I wouldn't dream about learning another language then. Now... hmm... interesting. How does one go about picking up the F language or the G language?

Pig Latin does not have anything to do with Latin. You take the first letter of each word, add it to the end of the word and add ay at the end of the word. Like this. owhay, reay ouyay odaytay Which is how are you today. It takes a while to understand, but you get the hang of it. Gibberish is simpler. Hidagi howdagow aredagar youdago. You say the word add "a" and add "g" with the last sound of the word.

Interesting! So, if the language is done by moving letters and adding syllabus, how is it related to the pig for the name "Pig Latin"?

Pig latin is a silly game we made up who knows when. I forget the rules though. Something about taking the first sound, moving it to the end of the word and adding a y. So Hello would be llohey Or some none sense like that, ask your local 8 year old.
