2012 myth?

I want to start a discussion here and hope that i get a lot of feedbacks and we will be exchanging our views here for a longer time.
They say that 2012 spells doomsday.Mayan calendar says so.
I'm not really very familiar with it that's why i want some feedbacks and maybe we can exchange our opinions regarding this topic.
We all know global warming is a big threat to Mother Earth, Greenland is a threat too.
But a lot of creeds seems to be agreeing on this same period wherein change will really take place drastically.
So we got about 3 years only?
I know its all in God's hands, but i know God in all His kindness will send signals to us so that we will have enough time to change our ways and prepare ourself for the paradise He made for us.
But do we really have about 3years left?

yes but is it impossible to think that Jesus might be coming on that date and finish it all in the battle of armageddon?

Yes you have a point there
For me only He knows when is the right time and He has given us the wisdom to sense when it is getting nearer.
There's been a lot of versions or interpretations of verses which are really profound ,but for me what's important is i know in my heart where im heading to
just in case my time is up.

Well the movie 2012 has sensatiionalized the idea that 2012 is the end of the world scenario. I think there are many predictions made many years ago and so far none has been true. So the probability that these are just another prediction that is not going to happen again. But for all that is worth it, I think we should not concern ourselves with it too much. We just strengthen our faith to our Creator and if that happens then we are confident that whatever happens to us we are assured to be safe in whatever form physical or spiritual salvation that may come upon us. If that would not happen then we are safe to say we did not waste our lives worrying about a thing that has not happened at all.

Only He knows when its the right time
And He has given us wisdom to know and feel the that time is getting nearer.

There has been a lot of doomsday predictions that have already passed and yet we are still here. I'm sure there will still be 2013, and there will be another doomsday prediction that will come out.

but is it safe to say that all predictions , i mean all, are all just from "a boy who cried wolf"?
well im still trying to make a self study of this
we all know the world is dying
a great change is coming ,,we know its coming, its just a matter of time
what do u think?...
