Just a minute ago I realized that I have a morning routine. The thought struck me, as I am have unstable work and university schedules and I go home once a week and I don't know how it happend, but I am doing the same almost every morning for more than 2 monthss now. It doesn't matter if I hae to wake up at 4 a.m, at 9 am or at 8 pm (if I am night shift) I always start the day with the same things. It goes like this: I set my alarm to wake me up at least 2 hours before I would have to leave. After I wake up I am in half-asleep condition for at least ten minutes. In this half-asleep condition I turn my computer on, on my way to the coffee machine. After I start the coffee machine i go wash my face which wakes me up a little. My computer is already on and I am sitting in front of it with my cup full of nice smelling liquid of life. After I take my first gulp of coffee I am out of my half-asleep condition and I enter into awake mode. Now, enjoying my coffee I skim through the sites I visit regularly just to see what's new, what's interesting and what to read further. with my coffee finished I go wash my teeth and after that I am online for an hour. Than I change clothes, do my hear and I go out. If I have more than 2 hours I also have breakfast at home, but if I don't I just have a snack from somewhere. Now this is my morning routine and I am starting to like it. It suits me and I am comfortable with starting my day like that Do you have your own morning routines? Or do you start each day differently? I am curious because I was never the type of person to follow any routines and it is something new to me. How about you?

I have a routine - depending on the season. During the summer, I get up early and run outdoors since the sun is out early. During winter - I skip the morning run and run after work. Some days (rainy days) i go to the gym and run there. That's typically a morning routine. I used to eat breakfast at home - but now I take it to work. So that's definitely something new to me. I also used to go out to lunch - now, in the morning, i bring my lunch to work so I prepare it. Not much of a routine - but a pretty good day-in, day-out that keeps me going.

That is a nice routine. I used run every morning with my dog, but after I live in a rented flat which doesn't allow any pets, I don't run anymore. I go to the jym several times a week but not in the mornings :)

Being a stay at home mother, I don't typically have to leave the house first thing in the morning. That said, I do have a very strict routine that I follow in the mornings when I wake up. The first thing that I do is grab my morning Pepsi. Then I carry my Pepsi to my computer and turn it on. Then I use the restroom. I return to my computer and start running my email. As I'm doing that I come on to mylot and start responding to discussions on here.
