Looking For Adventure(rs)

Interesting. I was cruising through some of my favorites and it looks like I'm alone today. Just left hiking and nothing is going on over there and hasn't been for 3 months! Even less happening in adventurer. No response to my Waymarking (adventurer) post of yesterday. Sad. I was hoping to run into some outdoors/hiking/adventure discussions. "Looking for adventure, head out on the highway..."

how about read a fun book or novel that is filled with lots of adventure, and live vicariously through the novel's adventures. u might event try to live it in real life later.

Hi fifileigh. I want to be the one that writes the book!

yes what is this waymarking you speak of? I consider myself a wannabe adventurer meaning I daydream about it all the time but never really do it. I guess I need some good adventuring ideas.

Hi jshan. Waymarking is a scavenger hunt for places. It is a sister of geocaching, a treasure hunt in which you use a GPS to find hidden caches. I do both, but I am more active in waymarking. You can read more about both at: http://www.waymarking.com http://www.geocaching.com

Maybe you should try to liven up these sections, then, perhaps? I don't think I have either the "adventurer" OR "hiking" in my interests.. What the heck is "Waymarking" by the way?! Anyway, I can understand why you're so frustrated with people not responding to your discussions..Happens to me all the time!

Hi maezee. I'm not necessarily frustrated about no responses, but I am a little disappointed the categories are not more active. I was hoping to find like-minded individuals.
