Helping Haiti

United States

Ok so I was watching this show on HBO the other day about how the Bush administration handled hurricane Katrina. Today a 7.0 earthquake hits Haiti and we hit the ground running. I mean I'm proud to be in a country where we help others, but still even all these years later you gotta wonder if a huge quake hits a US city, are we prepared. Will the world rush to help the USA?

Hi epticalindustries . I think we do have to wonder about that because, consider again Katrina. Though we responded quickly, there were a number of snafus and to this day there are still people in great need in Louissianna (sp?). I've heard there have been problems with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). So, I think I could say I feel we are partially prepared.
