I would say the reasonable man. But at the same time. I also have to say, that the world has his own rules, we only try to live with it, even if we make progress or not. Unreasonable is not always that bad, but up to a point. You get a lot of them, who just want everything to be their way and according to their rules. Lucky for us, reasonability always wins at the end of the day.

WEll, then the unreasonable man is responsible for the progress, because while he tries to adapt the world to himself, he invented new thing which help him to do that!

It depends on your definition of progress. I think the things mankind accomplishes are done so through the knowledge and skills God has given us. But as for the natural world, there is little we can do to "control" it beyond certain limits. Dams break, fences rot or rust, etc. And we cannot truly control others. Even men like Hitler will eventually be thwarted. I love the serenity prayer, which I try to live by: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Karen

Given this situation, it is the unreasonable man that is the one who is responsible for all of the progress that is made in this world. He is the one that thinks that things aren't done in the right way and decides to change the way that things are done and adapts things into a more effective manner. Seeing as how this is the way that the progress is made in this world, I am awfully glad that there are son many unreasonable people in this world.

Maybe both? I'm thinking that both men promote change, one from within, one from without...Get my drift? Very interesting things you post my friend..always a good read and thought provoking!
