There is a question that has haunted many people world-wide, it is where Jesus was born. Does it matter where Jesus was born in relation how we view him as the savior of mankind?

Hi powermannx. In a way yes, because it verifies prophecy in Holy Scripture comes literally to pass. Hundreds of years before Christ was born, Micah prophesied ... Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. That had to be fulfilled. If not, would we even consider the balance of the Holy Scriptures to be valid. Then, perhaps folks would really be haunted for there would be no sure Word of God.

I really enjoyed reading the responses to your question. I had never really thought about the location mattering as much as believing it actually happened.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem near Jerusalem which is in Current day Palestine. The Land of Peace! where Israel claim as their land awarded by God. Does it matter to Christians or not I don't know. Nobody is supporting Palestinians while all the world powers and Israel going against Palestine. Palestine got Christians as well. Peace.

powermannx, If I may add a little here, I do not think these people are just literally there to find out where Jesus was born, but to verify the legitimacy and truth of the written word. I am sure no one would want to believe if the first onright fact turns out to be a fallacy. It will also be lunacy if people were to falsely claim the savior of mankind. Have a nice day.
