I am not going to stop, untill i get it right, Ye whatever. It took me about two hours, Enough is enough. I tried to make my own meatballs, but let me tell you. I have red, burning fingers. What makes you think, something went wrong. I bought a bottle of prego sauce. Minced meat, onions, breadcrumbs and of course two tablespoons of prego sauce, salt, blackpepper and chopped garlic. The balls itself looked really funky, quite a nice colour, they actually tasted nice. But i will rather try it another way next time. You should see and smell the hands. VERY BAD!!!!

Oh, but half the fun is getting your hands in it! LOL I use tomato sauce along with spices, but I make a few different kinds of meatballs, so I like to spice my own. I usually make a big batch and freeze them until I need them.

You could still freeze them and have something else for lunch tomorrow.

I should have done that. We are only two and believe me, i made my hubby eat what he could and the rest is in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. After this, i don.t think he wants to see a meatball ever again. Shame poor thing.

Could you wear latex gloves while forming the meat into balls? Or alternatively, form the meat into ball-shapes with the backs of 2 tablespoons? Just a thought :-)

Hi, saphrina. Well at least the meatballs have turned out right. I hope that your fingers will be feeling so much better as time progresses.

haha...sounds like you had a fun time making it sometimes when i'm in the mood, i cook up my own stuff too and for the real funky smelling dishes or the ones that have a tendency to color my hands (like anything turmeric based), i'd wear gloves so how long were your hands funky? heheee..
