I know internet is the life of every person. It makes us connect to the world. We almost spend half of our day tot he internet. what if suddenly the internet connection for the whole world is cut, can you still survive without having it for one month? Do you have other options to make your life the same as there is an internet?

Personally I think like or not we have grown accustomed to the internet as a means of communication between each other. If it was suddenly gone, a lot of people would be seriously effected. For example many large and medium size companies around the world rely on the internet to communicate with each other on their own networks. So without it business around world would be seriously affected. On a more personal basis people would simply have to find other ways to amuse themselves and spend their time. It actually in many ways would be a very good thing for personal communication between families and reconnected with activities that you have not bothered with in a long time because your so busy waisting your time on the internet.

yes if internet will be cut for that long i think the business will be greatly affected. but when it comes to personal use only i think we can still survive and discover some beautiful things and places we never did because of so much time given to the internet.

Hi, Rosey. Of course I will survive without Internet, but it will be boring for me without the net, without My Lot and my Skype. I prefer to spend my free time surfing in the net and there is always something nterest to read but if they cute my Internet for a month I will survive somehow...

If the Internet shut down for the whole world, it would be a disaster. The loss of revenue for businesses would be enormous. I did lose my Internet connection for about a day last week. I called Verizon, my ISP. Their technical support was very nice but did not have a clue. It turned out to be a conflict between my ISP's PPPOE and Windows XP, which has its own PPPOE. It worked when hooked to one computer but the router could not resolve the conflict, so I could only connect one at a time. I had to reset the IP interface. It worked. It was very frustrating.

I can survive even there is no internet but it really helps a lot and I think if the internet connection is cut for 1 month it would be a big loss for me.

I'd probably worry about my bills for the upcoming month if that happens. But we do experience stuff like that in our country. It's quite typhoon prone and disaster prone. All connections are on posts so a single tree branch can affect our Internet connection. But if not for the earnings, I'd say nothing much would change here in our little town. As long as we have electricity, I think I'll find something worthwhile to do.

Yes of course! I would probably spend more time trail riding with my friends on my mountain bike, i'd read books more often, spend time with my family, work out, and just enjoy life! People think that the things on the net are important, but they fail to see the things closest to them are the most important. cheers!
