What do you think is the hardest part in running business? do you think? I haven't started my own store yet. Up to now, I have always thought that the hardest part is sales because every business is selling a product in a way. I know some people may say the financial seed would be the problem. Now after I observe a small business, consisting over 50 people, I find that the hardest part is not sale, not money but people management. I am quite good at sales myself but it is impractical for me to do everything by myself. To be a business owner, one must master the art of gathering talents, make them work for you which is right my weak point. It's cool that I realize this since I begin to observe from a different position. It's never to late to realize that.

Well, thats true.!! The success of your business depends on how you communicate with your people..Just like what we have in a sayings"two heads are better than 1".Any problem that will arise in your business can be easily solved if there is a teamwork.

I want to term it most challenging part instead of hardest part.In my own opinion, the most challenging part is how to play with the game despite having many competitors. This means that I should think of a barrier entry which will make my business different from others. This is also connected with marketing wherein I need to continue to provide innovations and more benefits for the consumers or customers.I need to make my business a need and necessity to the lives of others so that it will serve its purpose.Business itself is really challenging but it's worth it especially when you start to grow and progress little by little.I haven't reached yet to the point of having many employees, perhaps I'll just cross the bridge when I get there. In that part, relationship with subordinates really matters. Good luck to your business!

I work for my mother in law who owns a small business - there are only 7 people working there - 2 in the office and 5 up in the yard. We supply pipe to contractors and such for highway jobs or sewerlines, and waterlines. So we bid out jobs and ship tractor trailer truck fulls and then also have a store so the "average joe" so to speak can come in to get pipe and fittings for any home jobs they're working on. I sit next to my MIL all day. With us, even thow we may have shipped out $10,000 worth of material on that truck, we don't get paid for 60 days kind of thing because its all state work. However - I'd say the fiances are definitly one. Its always one of those "We know the money's coming, its just not here yet". You also need to invest in the right part of your business at the right time. I sometimes think its foolish that she'll spend $400 on a pretty cabinet to put in one of the offices... but she won't spend $500 on a kick @$$ fax machine/copier thingy that would make my life much easier :) I also believe that you need to put as much into the day to day operations as you expect your employees to put in. I thinkt he more you know about your business on a day to day basis, the more you stay in tune to whats going on... no surprises kind of thing. There's A LOT of stresses in owning your own business, I assure you. But I think if you hit the market with a decent product or service that is in demand for where you live - you can make a killing. Make sure you learn all about liscences or insurance requirements and limitations, interest rates and possibly other lines of credit or whatever, and also, when you start out - make sure you have enough in the bank to help you survive for awhile until the business gets going! I wish you the best of luck!! I think being a successful business owner is a very respectable thing! And you'll be able to take pride in what you've accomplished!

lf you are going to open a store it depends on what you are going to sell in what area and how many people are in the same trade becauce this is compition. You also have to look at easy access parking walking distance. Plus you have train staff after you have employed them that means adverting expence and alot of time interviewing. Then you have to know of how many people wages and a company pension if you employ ? so many. What profit margin you are looking at and how many produtes you are going to sell. The supplyers and what deals you can get. So l will tell you forget it if you have money in your pocket now buy apartments rent them out and watch the propery market grow. This means little work and lots of cash. l retired at 49yrs have all my hair only laugh lines and little grey.
