I may be being silly but I think this is really cool. In my computer class, one of the things we studied were search engines and how they really worked..ok..booleans law and all that but that's not what I want to show you. OK...type in graball for your search and there will come up a search engine that looks kind of like google. THEN..type in any research word and check out the results! I am thinking this is going to be an awesome research tool for me in my next class. Tell me what you think of it and did you already know about it?

This is so cool, Jenin. Thanks for not being selfish to share this knowledge with us all. Awesome, really. I tried and the fact that there are 2 search engines pop up at one time totally saves time. Especially when I want to do a quick search. This is just fabulous...thanks again yeah.

Wow, amazing. Thanks, Jenin. Another great tip there. It actually is very much like the interface on a super cool new search engine, but actually it's that little trick that makes wonders, fabulous!

I think you did the right thing, really useful when you don't have to search for any other search engine when you are looking for an answer. It splits into two, first time I saw this. How many are they right now on web? Do you have any idea?

It's neat huh? There are other options in little tabs at the top. You can actually choose what engines you want to see on your page. You can also scroll and modify your search on each side of the page seperate. Glad you liked it.

It brought up 2 search engines side by side, AltaVista and AOL. Interesting. And nope, I hadn't heard of this one. Have you heard of DogPile? I use that one sometimes...

It seems interesting indeed. It gives you three for one word written. We surely will get all the information on anything and from three different directions. I will have to remember it. Where do these instructors find such things anyway? It will definitely be an awesome tool since I love to do research so much! Thanks.

I tried it out and found it to be a great browser for advanced searches, although I would not have much need for it. I do however acknowledge the information that you have supplied, and perhaps it may come in handy some day. Thank you. cd

I love it. It's really going to help me out with my next classes. Bet it helps with computer speed to since it's just one tab working instead of two. Here's a great article that have several of these metadata engines in it. I just happened to like the graball. www.altsearchengines.com/2009/06/11/phil-bradley-on-search-engine-comparisons

It sure is going to be a huge help to me. I love useing it. There are other metadata engines too. They use different search engines. I just liked Graball that best because there were the tabs at the top to switch between the engines I had heard the most about. Thanks for responding.

Dear JenInTN, this graball thingy is really cool. I like the double-pane feature best. I can compare search results side-by-side, whereas in the past, it cannot be achieved without using 3rd party software.
