In fact, there is so much of over dosage of T20 cricket, that I have lost interest in that. Even the ODIs are no longer very interesting. On the other hand, test matches now have become really interesting. Especially with results coming out of test matches and the games getting really close. Cheers! Ram

There is a irony my friend. It is mostly due to t 20 cricket that test matches too have results. Players now very well know how to fastly respond in any situation

Actually no. Test cricket has been having results way back from around 2001 onwards. So at that time T20 was not in vogue. You can say that some of the test results which are there in 3 days might be the result of T20 or 300+ scores in ODIs are because of T20s, but nothing more. I still think Tests are the forefront of cricket. Cheers! Ram

that was the point i was talking about . This result in 3 days is due to t 20 and getting results is heavily affected by t 20

I don't agree at all that it's destroying cricket, It's a great form of the game and a fun spectator sport but I feel that it has also helped other forms of the game as it has brought new skills and mindsets to the game. The Sport was looking to be getting a little stagnant before the introduction of 20=20 but now it's back.

Obviously if you are just playing 20-20 then the new skills won't come through but I have heard many players talking about how it has helped them with their game. It has helped them become more aggressive batsmen who take chances earlier.

it has not made skill back to the players.... last year australia was not doing well, they argued that their poor performance is due to playing T20 cricket only...............

Although 20-20 cricket has just started by, it is proving to be a big hit, but what it has done is taken the viewers and audiences interest away from odi and mostly test cricket due to having a lot 20-20 matches these days.

hiee.....i feel d same too....20-20 cricket though is very exciting but i too feel that it is destroying the very basic of cricket...20-20 is a mere entertainment package and a means to earn a lot more for the cricket boards. However, this has put into danger- "test cricket" , the very soul of cricket ,from which cricket actually evolved. And also the fact that players are too hurried to score runs even in test cricket with the introduction of 20-20,as a result their shot selection lacks quality which is a cause of concern..ty.

I agree with you but to a certain extent. Every form of game has some charm.Where t 20 is fast and energetic, one day is decent and our classical test cricket is really a test for all the players. S o please don't call it a disaster . Excess of any thing is bad.

the 20-20 cricket is became very popular nowadays, but it's not destroy the cricket ,it's just becoming very entertainment ,but not to destroy it's just save time ,it's fast than the ODI and the test matches, I'm telling about the time,ODI AND TEST cricket is take to time, so the 20-20 is the correct time to watch, because many sports games are very short period of time but cricket is taking too time, so they brought 20-20 , in cricket international.
